Kick Coffee is the first ever specialty coffee made especially for soccer fans!  It was first featured in Seattle for the MLS Cup and pre-MLS Cup party, hosted by Prost Amerika.

And now,  Kick Coffee is the newest “starting player” of North Star Fine Coffees award winning line up of 5 star rated, premium grade 1, Seattle coffees.  It is available for purchase on our main website.

Kick Coffee is made as a blend of the finest Costa Rican and Guatemalan coffees.  Costa Rican coffees are prized for their high notes (bright citrus or berry-like flavors in the acidity) with distinct nut to chocolate roasty flavors, and Guatemalan coffee is revered as one of the most flavorful and nuanced cups in the world.

Combined in perfect proportion, with a medium-dark roast, Kick Coffee scores the winning goal in flavor.  Try some today.

Go team!

We’ve been completely enjoying your coffee the past couple days. You asked for feedback…we’ve only opened the Kick blend and (maybe it was subliminal..but) I was surprised by the smoothness of it. That was Nancy’s first descriptive of it as well. Smooth. Rich. I guess because it’s called “kick”, perhaps I was waiting for this big, burly cup that was going to really make my head spin.

We always use purified water, and as a rule Nancy buy’s the better grade of anything we eat…but this coffee is primo. It reminds me very much of the difference between “a candy bar” and “fine chocolate”. A Hershey Bar is sweet, notably chocolate, and slays the candy craving, but a fine chocolate hits a special note in the mouth, quenches the sweet craving and finally, your body thanks you for doing something nice to it!

We also both noticed something else. It’s hard to describe. Whereas we usually taste coffee with our mouth (I guess you’d say with our tongue, and of course the nose), we taste this coffee “all over” our mouth. I guess I could say “it feels good going down” in addition to merely “tasting” good.
