Not a story really… but just a memory.  My Mom started to allow me to drink coffee once I was in high school.  I was never a morning person, so to help get me up and going for the day, she would bring me a cup of coffee to my room every morning, to get me started.  That was 20+ years ago, and I had completly forgotten about it, till last weekend, when my husband of 5 yrs for the first time ever brought me coffee in bed… and it reminded me of that time.

I remember my dad sharing with me years ago that his father would always tell him that, “a morning without coffee is like sleep.”  Fast forward a few years and my family is having breakfast with my wife’s family for the first time and my new father-in-law proclaims that his father used to always say that, “a morning without coffee is like sleep.”  My dad and I had a hard time keeping our coffee from coming through our noses!
